From ISPP Director: 14 Feb 12
Dear Im:
I received your resignation letter today with mized feelings. On the one hand I will be very sorry to see you leave ISPP after 14 years of dedicated service to our school and our children. On the other hand, I know you will be thinking about what is best for your family and your decision to take a new job with new challenges will be one you thought a lot about.
I know for sure that Tracy has really enjoyed working with you and we were both extremely impressed with your recent professionalism before and after David Chen died. I am glad you have enjoyed working at ISPP and if this experience has led you to a greater career opportunity then I am proud that this was possible.
I appreciate you giving us plenty of notice and we will post your position right away so we can try hard to find another person to fill the shoes you will leave behind at the elementary office. I am sure Tracy will talk to you about a transition plan soon.
So congratulations on your decision and let's make the of the next two months.
Sincerely,
Barry

Thank you Mr. Im
Hi Everyone:
I wanted to tell you all that Mr. Im, in the Elementary Office, tendered his resignation this week, effective at the end of April. Im is going on the greener pastures in project management for a company developing a project much closer to his home.
Im has worked faithfully for ISPP for 14 years and has been a well respected and dedicated member of ISPP family. We are all going to miss him very much. Whenever we have needed his assistance, he has been there for the school. I am hoping he can attend the birthday function next Friday so we can also raise a glass to him, but I am sure there will be lots of other oppportunities for that between now and the end of April.
Mr. Im leaves big shoes to fill, but we will be inviting applications for his post both internally and externally right away because we want to make the most of a long handover period.
Congratulations Im and all the best.
Sincerely,
Barry

It with great sadmess that I receive your resignation. You are a pivotal member of the ISPP staff and your hard work and energy makes this school as good as it is. We are all a team and you are a key member of that team. I wish you well in your new endeavor.
On a personal note you have supported my first Principal position so well. Everything I have asked of you, you have done to an excellent standard and with a smile. I will really miss working with you.
